May 2009—SKS worked with U.S. Governmental Interagency Teams during the U.S. European Command Austere Challenge 09 Exercise to improve communication and collaboration between government agencies during a crisis. Employing a newly created team development approach, SKS worked with teams of leaders from five different nested teams to improve actionable understanding and achieve higher team performance faster.

Winter 2009—In an effort to improve knowledge sharing across the Army’s Warrior Transition Units, SKS helped the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) conduct a knowledge assessment. The assessment helped identify performance gaps between what a unit can do and what it must do to succeed.
