August 2011—SKS is pleased to welcome Mike Hower to the team as our Chief Learning Officer. Mike recently retired as an Air Force Lieutenant Colonel after more than 20 years of active duty service in both space and missile operations and developmental engineering assignments.
Recently, he spent three years on the faculty of Air University’s Air Command and Staff College, where he was responsible for distance learning course design, learning management system administration, and squadron commander professional development across the Air Force. Also at Air University’s Squadron Officer School, he served as commander of the 31st Student Squadron where he co-developed and implemented a revolutionary student-centric curriculum designed to educate, motivate, and mentor young Air Force captains to the ideals of leadership through academic and experiential learning.
As Chief Learning Officer, Mike will focus on Training and Education, including our workshops, seminars, and KM certification program.
